Helps to support employee health and well-being, which includes hosting on-site Wellness Fairs

Benefits & Perks

At New Chapter, the holistic health of every employee—mind, body, and spirit—is essential to our culture. That’s why we offer numerous benefits that help you care for your total self. We offer the following benefits for our US-based employees (a comparable package is offered in Canada).

Medical Coverage

Our medical plan allows employees to choose between three coverage tiers.

Dental Coverage

Our dental coverage offers free preventative office visits every 6 months and includes dependent orthodontia benefits.

Vision Coverage

Our vision coverage offers two coverage levels and includes eye exams and hardware benefits. The Basic Vision Plan is 100% employer paid.

Health Savings Account

New Chapter contributes to a dollar-for-dollar match program for employees who enroll in the High Deductible Medical Coverage Tier.

Flexible Spending Account

We offer both Health Care and Dependent Care FSA’s that allow you to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible health care and dependent care expenses. We contribute to a dollar for dollar match program for Dependent Care FSA’s.

Life and AD&D Insurance

Employees are eligible for company-provided basic life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) coverage. Employees may choose to purchase additional life insurance, including spousal coverage.

Disability Benefits

Employees are also eligible for company-provided Short and Long-Term Disability at 60% coverage.

Supplemental Coverage

Additional supplementary benefits available to employees include Critical Illness Coverage, Accident Insurance, Identity Theft Protection, Legal Insurance and Pet Insurance.

Tuition Reimbursement

New Chapter covers 100% of approved tuition expenses for undergraduate, graduate, and certificate programs for employees who are eligible for reimbursement. More details from Human Resources.

401(k) Plan with Match

Employees may opt to join New Chapter’s 401(k) plan on both a pre-tax (Traditional) and/or post-tax basis (Roth). New Chapter will match 100% of the first 3% and 50% of the next 2% contributed.

Tuition Loan Assistance

New Chapter’s Tuition Loan Assistance program is designed to help employees pay back student loan debt and improve their financial well-being.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

All employees are eligible for company-provided EAP services, which provide valuable counseling and support services.

Time Off

Paid time off consists of a generous schedule of paid holidays, personal time, sick time, and a vacation schedule that increases with service.

Volunteer Time & Civic Time

New Chapter provides employees with 16 hours of paid time off each year for volunteering and an additional 8 hours of paid time off for civic activities, including voting.

Product Discount

New Chapter provides significant product discounts as well as a monthly allowance that can be combined to purchase our premium vitamins and supplements.

Company Donation Match

To support employee charitable gift-giving, we will match employee donations up to $100 per year to an approved non-profit charity.

Hybrid/Remote Options

Some positions may have opportunities to work remotely or to work a hybrid model (part remote, part in-office). More details from Human Resources.

Health & Well-Being

New Chapter supports employee wellness through programs such as our Healthy Snack Program, On-Site Nursing, Discounted Fitness Memberships, Ergonomic Assessments, Lactation Room, and Financial Wellness Resources.
