New Chapter has long been committed to avoiding genetically modified organisms (GMOs), and we were one of the first companies to enroll our products in the Non-GMO Project Verification program. The Non-GMO Project Verified logo on a product confirms the ingredients are independently reviewed for GMO avoidance going all the way back to the seed.

Where Food Comes From Organic® (WFCFO)

WFCFO verifies that each step of manufacturing meets organic standards, including no added chemical pesticides, herbicide residues, or genetic engineering. The WFCFO logo indicates a product is 70% organic or more and certified to United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Organic Program (NOP) standards.

USDA Organic

The USDA Organic logo indicates a product is certified to United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Organic Program (NOP) standards. The USDA organic logo indicates a product is 95% organic or more. New Chapter USDA Organic products are certified by Where Food Comes from Organic.

Certified Gluten-Free™ by NSF

Products certified as Gluten-Free by NSF meet strict gluten-free standards. This rigorous certification aligns with the FDA's Gluten-Free Labeling Final Rule and is backed by the expertise of NSF, a leading public health and safety organization.

ClimeCo Certified

The ClimeCo Certified Product™ Protocol thoroughly evaluates the product’s “cradle-to-grave” life cycle. They also calculate the product’s carbon footprint
value and implement measures to continually assess and reduce the footprint before mitigating those emissions.

Certified Seafood International

New Chapter’s fish oil comes from an Alaskan salmon fishery independently certified as meeting CSI's environmentally responsible fishery management standard. The certification includes a robust Chain of Custody with the ability to identify harvest origin.

Certified Vegan

The Certified Vegan logo shows the product has been independently certified by Vegan Action to be free from animal products or animal by-products. It also shows the product has not been tested on animals.

Orthodox Union Certified Kosher

Products certified OU Kosher meet the highest standards of Kosher certification as supervised by the Orthodox Union. Audits are completed multiple times per year at both New Chapter and our manufacturing partners to ensure adherence to dietary restrictions and laws as well as transparency and labeling.

IGEN™ Non-GMO Tested

The IGEN (International Genetically Modified Organism Evaluation & Notification Program) Non-GMO Tested logo is a Nutrasource certification program. It verifies label claims about the absence of GMOs in products and ingredients by testing for the presence of GMO genes and proteins.

NSF® Contents Certified

The NSF Contents Certified logo verifies dietary supplements match their label claims by testing products in NSF's labs for accuracy, contaminants, and potential pathogens. The third-party inspection by NSF shows the product meets or exceeds a rigorous set of quality assurance standards, including mercury and other heavy metal testing.

Certified B Corporation®

New Chapter has been a B Corp since 2014. Certified B Corporations are redefining business success as not just best in the world, but best for the world. Certified B Corps are required to score high in key areas of business including treatment of workers, environmental impact, business transparency, and community engagement.

Regenerative Organic Certified®

Regenerative agriculture is a collection of practices that focuses on regenerating soil health and the full farm ecosystem. At a baseline, Regenerative Organic certification indicates a product is made of 95% organic material or more and adheres to the standards of soil health, worker fairness, and animal welfare as outlined by the Regenerative Organic Alliance. New Chapter’s Regenerative Organic Certified products are certified by Where Food Comes from Organic.

Upcycled Certified™

The Upcycled Certified mark identifies products that use surplus food or byproducts to create new, high-quality items, thus reducing food waste and promoting sustainable practices. New Chapter’s Upcycled Certified products are certified by Where Food Comes from Organic.
